What a beautiful young adult romance. The path if true love doesn't run smoothly for Trey and Pia. Trey has a sad life. He is a carer for his mother who has rejected him. His father also rejected him. He has a jealous friend who tries to disrupt his relationship with Pia. After his mother attempts to end her life that on top of Pia's perceived rejection he decides life is no longer living and walks into the sea. Luckily he fails and his life moves forward. This book highlights the stress placed on young carers and the effect it has on their lives. There is a happy ever after to this story. This is a well written book which highlights some serious issues. I would give this book four stars.

She's a self-published author who loves to write new adult romance about heroes who begin as the underdog and are protective of their girl.

She's an avid reader of romance, is addicted to coffee and loves wine and chocolate, so yeah, not the most healthy eating and drinking habits :-) She spends way too much time online when she should be writing. She collects teddy bears and occasionally knits a couple of rows on a sweater she started years ago, which she may eventually finish in time to wear for her funeral :-)
