Hey y'all! I'm Bree, coming to you from a sleepy little town in North Carolina. I'm 33 and have two ginger cats named Fieldy and Malachi. Malachi is a klepto and is constantly stealing my hair ties and other various small items. I'm a cosmetologist, paralegal, music promoter and photographer's assistant. Oh, and I'm also writing a book called Forever Forsaken and it's about my favorite subject - vampires.
Let's see, I collect voodoo dolls - because I like them, not because I have some exes to get back at. *cough cough* I also collect Chuck Taylors. My favorite pair are my Kurt Cobain limited editions. My hobbies include: reading (duh), going to shows (I've seen over 100 bands live), answering awkward personal ads on Craigslist, and murdering cell phones. Seriously. I've gone through 3 in the last 4 months.
My favorite book is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I freakin love that book. My copy has been all over the country and almost every page has been dog-eared. My favorite author is Terry Goodkind. I love the Sword of Truth Series SO MUCH, and I have made quite a few good friends over those books.
FIRST FILE SHOUT OUT! WOOT!
I have 14 piercings, 12 tattoos, and I am a part time goth. Only part time because I haven't found a good pair of goth jammies, and I love staying in my jammies if I can. I am in love with KoRn almost to the point of obsession. I even have the lyrics for their song '4U' tattooed down my left rib cage.
My favorite bands/artists are: KoRn, Disturbed, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, Linkin Park, HIM, AFI, Talib Kweli, KRS-ONE, Sublime, Nirvana, Jurassic 5, Razakel, Mindless Self Indulgence, Boondox, ICP, Twiztid, Our Lady Peace, and Eminem. Actually, there's like 1,000 more but I don't want to bore you. ;)
Some other random facts are: I have sleep paralysis, love wearing my white out contacts to scare children, I am in love with Tripp NYC, I love to talk about pooping, and I think that I will someday marry Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of KoRn. #stalkerstatus
That's about it. I think I've rambled on enough here.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
Dear Bree,
ReplyDeleteRight now, my short story is a single plankton in an ocean of sharp toothed books, but I am hoping that once you and your peers review it, it would amass to much more than that.
My name is Vanya Ferreira and I am a new author hoping to make a long, productive career out of writing. My short story - "The Story of Lucius Cane" - was published on Amazon twelve days ago. It belongs to the dark fantasy genre and it has approximately 7,000 words.

Here is the synopsis:
London, 1794. Lucius Cane, a peculiar vampire, comes upon an opponent the likes of which he has never seen before - a brute with remarkable abilities. But not all is as it seems as their encounter unfolds in a manner that neither of them expected.
If requested, I can provide the MOBI, ePUB or PDF copy of the story.
Hoping that it will spark your interest and that is review worthy....
Thank you very much in advance.
Sincerely,
Vanya
