Well I can never read a book 2 until I read book 1. After whizzing through book 1 needless to say I was VERY happy to have Book 2 at the ready as I devoured both book 1 and 2 of this series so far! I was left devastated at the end of book 1 and was happy that book 2 picked up right where we left off
With Kade MIA Roxy meets Dylan, who, while Roxy tries to resists is unable to keep from Dylan’s charms? When Kade returns to claim his woman does Roxy allow this to become a love triangle? Are betrayal and a splintered heart too damaged to be repaired?
I won’t lie, I can’t say I was a huge Dylan fan, he always seemed a little more than “healthy” off kilter and I was team Kade all the way. In this second book the characters were much more developed, and their emotion drew you in leaving you rooting for the right man and the roller-coaster that goes along with getting from broken hearted, to bandaged and again back to whole. I look forward to the next in this series from Ms. Michelle

My eyes can’t help but stare and linger at his toned
and tanned arms, his chiselled face, slightly stubbled. I could never forget
his ruggedly handsome face that I once loved so much.
Seeing him last night in the darkness, I really
didn’t do him one bit of justice.
In the brightness of the day he is a god, one
extremely good looking, sexy man and those hazelnut coloured eyes glistening in
the sunlight, are doing all kinds of things to my insides.
Roxy.

As I rub my hands along her body I tell her. “This
tanned skin of yours is so clear and smooth; I love the softness, your
untouched beauty, no Photoshop of Botox or plastic surgery. Roxy I love you and
just you my all-natural Aussie beauty. You are my very cheeky, stubborn, way
too independent, hotter than hell Aussie beauty” I state to her as I thrust
deep inside her wet core. I glide in with ease; she is so aroused and dripping.
Roxy is a fighter, she is strong and
independent. She knows exactly what she wants and is not afraid to go after it,
especially when it comes to men. Roxy thinks she has men figured out, that is
until she meets Kade. He storms into her life like a knight on a white horse to
save her. He makes her question everything she ever thought she knew about
life, men and herself.
With a past that keeps holding her
back will Kade be able to break down her walls? Will he be able to prove to
Roxy that everything she thinks she knows about men is wrong, or will he prove
her right?
