COVER REVEAL

Before I Break
by
Alec John Belle

Coming August 7th 2015...

Synopsis:

When religiously raised Cyril Hayes begins his junior year at East Hill High School, every choice he makes suffers a greater consequence.  While facing challenges of friends, family, and love, he learns that hate and intolerance are also a very large part of our world today.

Cyril Hayes is seemingly just like any other male his age. He has the perfect girlfriend, Melissa Summers, his best friend, Jake Rivers, and a lawyer father who brings home enough money to support his family and then some. When Cyril begins his junior year, he doesn't expect his life to spiral out of control when he meets Avery Branson, the new kid in school who has a big secret: he's gay. At first, Cyril doesn't handle this truth well, due to the way he was raised, but as the story progresses, he ventures deep into the reality of homosexuality and begins to accept Avery for who he is.

Not everyone is happy with Cyril's new friend, including Jake, who believes that homosexuality is a sin and is refusing to budge his beliefs. But Avery isn't the only one at East Hill with secrets. Soon a tragedy will strike, knocking Cyril's world completely off balance and leaving a scar on his heart that will change his view of humanity all together.

Synopsis

When I moved to New York, I never dreamed that I would end up as a Top Twelve finalist for America's Favorite Dancer. I knew the competition would be a great opportunity for my career, but I had no idea it would turn out to be the best summer of my life. My golden ticket onto the show led to new friendships and hot steamy romances.

However, behind the cool, confidence that I showed the world was a broken heart that had never completely healed. Dance was my ongoing therapy, and I vowed to never let a man get close enough to hurt me ever again.

Instead, I kept my relationships the same way I liked to dance....fast and unbinding. Was I a heartbreaker? Maybe. But mostly just protecting my own heart.

Now, if I could only forget the love of my life, I would be okay, but until then I would continue to Just Dance.

*Just Dance is a companion novella in the Dancer's Desire series, which can be read alone, but is better as Book 2.5 in the series. It is a short story with a little bit of romance and a whole lot of fun.*

Synopsis

Sirene Devereaux came to town, looking for a man; but not just any man, she was looking for a vampire.
This wasn't about finding love. She was in town to do a job. It was business, not pleasure. She had to hunt down one particular vampire and make his very existence a living hell.
To hide her true identity, she got a job waitressing and eventually some gigs singing, since that was her real passion. Of course there was more to her than met the eye. Sirene was a witch.

It didn't take her long to find a place to stay, make friends and find her vampire. In fact, he found her.

Fabian Sorensen wants Sirene the moment he lays eyes on her, but unfortunately his natural charm doesn't seem to work on her. He's used to getting any woman he wants, yet she seems immune.

When he finally gets the chance to spend a night with her, he discovers she's no ordinary woman, she's a witch and he hates witches. It has never ended well for him when he encounters them.

Sirene is no different. She hurts him, humiliates him and attacks the one thing precious to him, his manhood and for that, he wants revenge. He learns she's been sent to torture him and she's a serious threat to his normally controlled world. He has survived over 600 years and suddenly everything is threatened by one tiny raven haired witch.

She thwarts his attempts to make her pay for what she did to him. Any time he's around her, she completely unmans him. He hates that he is attracted to her. He uses women for blood and sex, he doesn't do relationships, so why is this one messing with his head so much?
Sirene too, is drawn to him which goes against everything she is in town to do. She's supposed to loathe him, not like him. The attraction between them is powerful but will it ultimately destroy them?

When a series of challenges arises and their very lives are threatened, can they survive? With so much against them, is it possible for a witch and a vampire to truly find love?

Author Bio

For as long as I can remember, I've loved to write, poetry, short stories just about anything. My English teachers in school kept telling me I should write and it took me a lot of years to finally get around to it.

I spent too long worrying about failing as a writer before I realized that living with the regret of never trying was worse.

I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my partner and our three children, who aren't so little anymore, plus a whole assortment of animals.

Natasha's Awakening is my first book but I have no intention of stopping now and will continue to live my dream of being a published author. I have just published Taming Eric which is his POV to Natasha's Awakening.

My interests are writing of course, reading, watching movies and hanging out at home with my family, our six cats and one dog.

You can find me on Facebook under my author page J. A Melville and my book's page Natasha's Awakening.

As a curator of characters, you'll normally find Kelli McCracken sitting at her desk, working hard on her next novel. When she's not arguing with those persistent people inside her head, you can find her hanging out on Facebook, chatting with readers about books and upcoming writing projects.

"It seems like all I ever do is write...and listen to Layne. He's always whispering something naughty in my ear, like being dipped in chocolate. Now I'm craving a Kit-Kat. Welcome to my zany life, where sanity is optional, romance is required, and liquor is most definitely quicker. Jack Daniels keeps me sane, my characters, not so much."

Bayou Beckons

   Bayou Beckons by Linda Joyce
Series: Fleur de Lis Series (Book 3)
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Party-girl and bayou babe Camilla Lind treats life like a game. After sleeping with her sister’s fiancé, she’s struggling to change, but karmic payback is a bitch. When the actions of her past crash into the present, they stand to ruin her future...and destroy any chance of love with the only man she’s ever wanted.

Rancher Jared Richardson guards his heart carefully after suffering the pain of infidelity. He
never expected to fall for a woman like Camilla Lind, nor did he think he’d follow her across the country to beg for a second chance at love.

As Hurricane Katrina bears down on them, can they weather the storm and put aside past hurts to embrace their future together?

Linda Joyce is an award-winning contemporary romance author born on Christmas Eve. Her Louisiana family’s roots run deep, and they’re intertwined with her Japanese heritage. Her vagabond childhood afforded her a variety of travel opportunities. Now she lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and their three dogs: General Beauregard, Gentleman Jack, and Masterpiece Renoir.

Linda penned her first manuscript while living in Japan as a U.S. Air Force dependent. Her classmates lined up at recess to read her latest pages. During high school in Florida, a literary magazine published her poetry. In college, she worked on the school’s newspaper as a reporter and learned layout and design.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Management. She worked in corporate America, earned the Senior Claims Law Associate professional designation, and completed Six Sigma Green Belt training.

Linda is a self-professed foodie and has the kitchen of her dreams. She enjoys painting when she can fit it in. She and her husband, Don, love college football. They frequently go RVing, and at last count, they’ve traveled to twenty-one states with “the boys.”

Camilla eyed him suspiciously. How did he know about Cajun food?
“I’ve traveled south quite a bit. Look, if you don’t want to eat, at least have something to drink.” Jared offered a bottle of water.
“I’ll sit, on one condition.”
“Name it.”
She stalled. How did she tell him she couldn’t risk kissing him again?
“We’re only friends. Nothing more. Haley assured me you’re not engaged...Ryan is the one getting married.”
Jared drew back. “You didn’t believe me?”
“At the diner, Ryan said you had wedding business. Trixie said she was going to be the entertainment for a bachelor party. So I thought...”
“I can see where that might have been confusing.”
He had the good sense not to laugh. She credited him with that, though believing that she’d kissed an engaged man—and loved it, had sent her anxiety soring. That was all he had to say?
“Yes. Confusing,” she huffed.
“So now you know there’s nothing improper about my attraction to you.” His lips curved into a sexy smile. He crooked his finger, then patted a spot on the blanket beside him.
Camilla stood rigid. The man oozed with seduction. He didn’t understand the war taking place inside her. If she surrendered now, it would be the same as tumbling ten thousand feet off Rendezvous Mountain and landing crumbled at the bottom. She had to leave. Had to go home. She didn’t belong in Wyoming. Plus, she’d watched the agony her sister endured from a broken heart. Branna was stronger. Wiser. Had mended and bounced back.
But she wasn’t Branna.

Emotions swirled like an eddy. Thoughts tumbled in her mind. Love scared her more than she ever imagined. A broken heart just might kill her.

Author Bio

I've spent many years crafting stories in my brain. Finally, after the encouragement from those that love and support me the most, I put my first story out by self-publishing in 2013.

That first milestone created a writing monster in me that couldn't be stopped and filled a void I cannot explain. Each story is a true gift from my heart and a sacrifice from my soul, since I find it difficult to let the characters go.

At home in Texas, my husband and I share our life with children that mean the world to us and include a couple of fur babies. When we aren't busy watching sports and betting on the game, we are entertaining with friends.

I do have a writing cave, but honestly, most of my work comes from the kitchen, the heartbeat of any home. Since noise doesn't disturb me too much when writing, I can write and keep the pulse on the family at the same time. And... Possibly enjoy my favorite, sinful treat... Cookie dough!

The writer-reader world is my lifeline. I'm addicted and each time I get a message from a reader, I'm thrilled. There's quite a few stories planned for the next several months. I'm hoping the readers fall in love with my next series, The Creek Series. A story that is guaranteed to bring out all the emotions.

If you've read my books, thank you! It truly means the world.
